Short version: no cookies, no analytics, no trackers, no forms. If you email me, I have your email.
Who I am
This site is run by Yuriy Khomenkov, publishing as KhomDev, an independent researcher. I am the controller of any personal data described here. Contact: yuriykhomenkov@gmail.com.
Scope
This policy covers khomdev.org only. Links on this site lead to X, GitHub and Paragraph, which have their own privacy policies. I do not control how those services handle your data.
What I collect
- Email you send me. If you write to me, I receive your address and whatever you include in the message.
- Nothing else, directly. There are no accounts, no forms, no comments, no newsletter sign-up on this site and no wallet connection. I never ask for keys, seed phrases or payment details.
Hosting logs
The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site, Cloudflare processes standard request data such as IP address, user agent, time and the page requested. I do not receive per-visitor logs from it and I do not use this data for profiling or advertising. At most I may see aggregate traffic totals in the Cloudflare dashboard.
Cookies and local storage
This site sets no cookies. It stores one value in your browser's local storage, and only if you use the theme toggle:
theme:lightordark, so the site remembers the colour scheme you picked. It never leaves your device and is not sent to me.
Because nothing optional is stored and nothing tracks you, there is no consent banner. You can clear the value at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it needs to check that traffic is not automated; that is part of operating the service, not tracking.
Third-party requests
Pages load nothing from third parties. Fonts and images are served from this domain, there are no embeds, no analytics scripts and no ad tags. Article listings are fetched from Paragraph when the site is built, not from your browser.
How I use what I receive
- To reply to your message.
- To keep the site secure and available.
I do not sell personal data and I do not use it for marketing.
Who else processes it
Cloudflare (hosting and security) and my email provider (delivering and storing email). Both act as service providers for those purposes only.
Retention
I keep email for as long as the conversation needs it and for reasonable record-keeping after that. Ask me and I will delete it, unless I am legally required to keep it.
Your rights
You can ask me to access, correct or delete personal data I hold about you, or object to how I use it, by emailing yuriykhomenkov@gmail.com. If you are in the EU or UK you have these rights under data-protection law, and you can complain to your local supervisory authority.
Children
This site is not directed at anyone under 16, and I do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
